Articulated skating sloth doll by Luka of Melbourne, Australia.
Introducing our new Weekly Wrap-Up for Oct 10 - Oct 16, ’15. The sloth-levels are high and the shred-levels are even higherer. That being said—and also knowing that “higherer”—is not a real word) check out this week’s new news:
First off, we’d like to mention this video sent to us from Max Wippermann featuring the final heat through the chicane at Soldiers of Downhill, 2015 and clocking in at 58mph.
Speaking of high speeds, the Utah boy are claiming “Speeds over 70mph” in this quick go pro mashup.
Skate Invaders X Comet Skateboards dropped this skate everything video of Tim Smith. Def worth a peep to all neo-true-shool rippers.
The Orangatang dudes released this video last week featuring Jon Sevik and Alex McKenzie traveling the beaten path through the dense woodlands of the North East in search of the long forgotten structures that litter the states of New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. Definitely a fun video reminding all of us skaters of seeking out weird terrain, and then rip it, heavily.
Independent Trucks‘ rider Cody Chapman has a solid bag of tricks, and consistent on all levels of rad. Watch this shit, get stoked, and hit the skatepark with the crew.
PRGLNG Media just released this fun raw-run style video featuring dudes mobbing a DH event in the hills of Rejvíz, Czech Republic.
Also, After the Rumble in Ramona the remaining Gullwing boys reassembled for a backyard vert session. This raw session vid features Adam “Scissors” Effertz, Ben Johnson, Alan Young, Pedro Delfino, and Mike Conroy with guest appearance by Chris Russell. This puppy will make ya wanna pad-up and get vertical.
