We’ve been trekking out to Barrett Junction for 7 years now and not much has changed: the road is still super jacked, the desert is still harshly inhospitable, and the family of riders who participate in this annual event are still 100% downhill skateboarders.
The accompanying video and images within this article tell our story of this year’s Barrett Junction event, and through the lenses of our posse: Khaleeq Alfred, Marcus Bandy & James Webster. Please enjoy our makings!

THANK YOU’S: A huge thanks goes out to Scott Lembach of Muirskate, Will and the Xtreme Board Shop crew, the California Outlaw Series crew, Ryan Farmer, Louis Piloni, James Kelly, and all the homies who helped organize, promote, drive the Muir van, setup, and help pick up trash. A mega shaka goes out to everyone who came out and ripped and kept it going all weekend long. What a rad community building event! We look forward to next year.
