I’m not looking to run my mouth much here. I don’t think the Bayou Battle warrants too much more talking and verbage. I’m feelin’ a less rattle more roll vibe right now. Anyway, I’ll just let this event and the Houston, Texas shred community shine for themselves—through the tight community they have built—through their obvious love for skating of all types—and via what we here at Wheelbase were able to capture of their fun-ass-shit-three-day-skate-event.
Bottom line, the Bayou Battle was one of the sickest & most refreshing events I’ve been to in a long time. I want to see sanctioned garage racing grow and grow. Thank you Greg Noble of Team NoBull, thank you Scotty, Zac, and crew of Carve Skate Shop, and thanks to all the Texas skate homies for the stoke and hospitality. I am truly inspired and so very grateful for all your kindness and support. Please enjoy our Bayou Battle recap. Shredlove!
Bayou Battle, 2015 Garage Race Video:
It’s so awesome that we pulled this off, and blew past our wildest expectations. Beyond hoping that legal garage racing events will spread because of the Bayou Battle, we are most excited for next year! The Hobby Center has asked us back and next year we will be shutting the road down outside the garage as well as we’ll have the garage for the entire day. This will assure a different yet better/expanded race format and tons more stoke and gnar! So put us on your calendar for 2016! Come Race Us, Y’all! - Greg Noble (Team NoBull)
