The Bear Trucks “Kodiak” is a 45 degree downhill & freeride “ truck featuring a 178mm forged hangers, 8-hole forged baseplates, conical bushing seats, pressed-in axles, three sets of tall bushings, bushing shims for shorter bushings options, a wooden carrying case, a total weight per truck of 15.37oz, and they come in both a red and black anodized coloring.
Points Of Interest:
During our riding of this truck, we focused on three main features: 1. Turning. 2. Strength. 3. Weight.
Findings:
1. Turning: After riding these trucks we really felt like the combination of the conical bushing seat, tall bushings, and 45 degree baseplate provided for a stable and precise turn.
2. Strength: We rode these trucks extensively and did not encounter any issues with bending. And honestly, due to the truck’s forged construction, we don’t foresee this becoming an issue.
3. Weight: Last but not least, these trucks are light—weighing in at just 15.37 ounces, they provided for a lively and responsive ride.

“review” is a bit of an overstatement ) but still good info
It’s definitely a review. Actual hard skating that text the product and our feedback after riding. It may not be technically in-depth, but we don’t really do that. It’s one review of many for this product and an addition to an ongoing conversation. We’re stoked on it and we thank you for your feedback.
