The Bustin Boards “BG DK” is an 8-ply, 10″ wide, 41.5″ long, symmetrical double kick. It features a slight W-Concave, wheel well flares, CNC’d wheel wells and a few wheelbase options.
The Testing:
In order to test this board, Tom and Marcus skated some west coast hills and nearby steep descents.
Pros:
The BG DK is a versatile downhill double kick that’s longer length makes it super comfortable at speed while the mellow nose and tail are fun for ollies, shove-its and manual tricks. The ample concave provides a comfortable and confident ride overall.
Cons:
The W-concave is almost unnoticeable. Depending on your preference, this lack of W may either be a pro or a con. If you’re looking to do any serious ollie-type tricks, this board will take some getting used to. This is a long board. It’s also kinda heavy.
Overall:
The “BG DK” is a lot of fun for riding an assortment of terrain. The mellow kicks keep the ride interesting on the flats, and the longer wheelbase makes for plenty of fun at higher speeds.
