The Faction 3D is a featured board in Jet Skateboards “Invasion Series”. It’s an 8 ply maple top-mount with micro drops and a small nose and kick tail. It is 10” wide, 37” in length with an adjustable wheelbase.
The Testing:
In order to test the Faction 3D we hit local run up in the Angeles Mountains.
Results/Findings:
Pros:
This board’s relatively short length and micro drops create a responsive, nimble, and locked-in ride—we also really liked its stiffness.
Cons:
The nose and tail kicks of this deck are rather short, and thus limited in their use.
Overall:
The Faction 3D is a fun and nimble downhill deck with the added versitility of an adjustable wheelbase. The micro drops and concave lock your feet in nicely and although the kick tails were not super functional, this stiff freeride deck is really fun and we enjoyed riding it
