Testing the Jet Skateboards “Vulcan” Deck:
In order to text this board we hit some of our local hills in the South Bay.
Features:
The Jet Skateboards “Vulcan” is a 37.5” x 10.0” rockered downhill deck, with a 26.0″-30.4″ adjustable wheelbase. It features flush-mounts, flares, ample wheelwells, and is constructed in the USA with 9-plies of maple.
Pros:
The Jet “Vulcan” is great for going fast. The length, rocker, flush mounting and healthy concave combine to create a stable, locked-in ride, and a comfy platform for speed.
Cons:
This board is long, and although that adds up to increased stability, for some pint-size rippers this board may feel a bit on bigger side.
Overall:
Overall, the Jet Skateboards Vulcan is ready for bargin’ and chargin’ down any mountain road. The long wheelbase combined with the low, locked-in ride of this deck make it a great choice as a “go-to” speed board.
