“Bro, was that switch?!?!”
Welcome back to the Weekly Wrap-up, the only place where you can find switch Finger Flings as well as a few Hand Huckers before catching up on all the haps from the past week within the world of skateboarding. From racing mountan roads, to raging backyard pool coping, we are proud to back it all and proud to present to skateboarders everywhere a Skate Everything ethos to hopefully continue to inspire creativity within our ranks. Skating represents freedom, so feel free to get comfortable and enjoy anything that may have slipped past your skate-radar this week before you go get your own personal sesh on!
Starting things off with some South American fire from Black Media who just dropped a bomb edit of Luan Oliveira tearing apart his home turf in Brazil. The “homie session” vibe is strong with this one by leaving the “best sound in the world” to speak for its self.
Some unfortunate news was announced this week from Nelson Longboards who after eight years of contributing to our Community has sadly had to close shop. On their way out they created an awesome video that shows the craftsmanship and love that they put into every sled they pressed. Thank you for all the contributions y’all made and we hope for nothing but the best for everyone associated with Nelson in the future.
When the time comes to make the personal decision of what new freshie sled to pick up add Laissez Faire to the list of possible board companies to consider to fulfill this need. Featuring a recently expanded line up, LF is a Skater Owned and Operated movement that offers boards for any skater no matter what riding style they are interested in pursuing.
The concept of mini-ramp madness has always been an arena that promotes progression for every era of skateboarding but the homies over at Street Plant took a time machine hop back in time to drop an Unmodern edit of their team destroying a mini like it was 1990.

Industry/Rider News:
Skateboarding is all about adventures of exploration and getting out on the road is the single best way to experience the new and unknown. Bustin Boards understands this and has assembled their “Dream Team” for a trek up the West Coast with a few strategic stops scheduled along the way. For tour info and stop dates, peep Bustin’s Blog for a full listing of all the prudent details you may be curious of as well as follow @bustinboards on Insta-swag for updates from the van along their journey!
Wheelbase Fam:
#WheelbaseFam Jake Groove recently hosted a Skate Life Style Art Exhibit at Don Carlos Taco Shop in which he showcased work that he has been compiling since October 2015. Take the time if you haven’t already to view the images of ten different skaters and their personal pretenses for skating. The exhibit will be up showcased until July 15, so if you’re in the area make sure to stop by the shop and view it in person.
