Points Of Interest:
For our testing we focused on three points of interest: The concave, nose & tail kicks, and the wheelwells.
Findings:
Based on our experience riding the Comet Ethos 38, we have found it to be a solid all-around downhill deck. The concave on this board is ample, but we found it to be a bit mellow as compared to other, more “downhill specific” concave on the market. The wheelwells on the board proved to do their job; we had zero issues riding 70mm wheels. The nose and tail kicks of this board worked well for a range of ollie and manual tricks, However, set up with some 50 degree Paris Trucks the tail did feel a bit steep. That said, the tail-pocket that it created is very comfortable for railing corners and kicking out slides.
