This is the first chance I’ve had to get some internet access since the Buffalo Bill helicopter debacle, fiasco, or whatever you want to call it. Here’s one of the many shots I took as it happened—so gnarly I can’t even believe it actually went down. And to think, Louis Pilloni and myself where just up in one of these whirly birds, covering another event, only two weeks ago. Look closely, and peep the pilot and two others still in the ‘copter—just before they jumped out and scrambled up the mountain for their lives—all the while blades spinning over their heads! Gnar! I feel so blessed and thankful to be alive and also so stoked that nobody whatsoever was hurt in this crash. Anyway, more to come: Radical race shots, epic freeriding, and of course more gnarly broken helicopter shots and general mayhem. Full length article very soon.
