Introducing our new Weekly Wrap-Up for Oct 17 - Oct 23, ’15. This here news post is about skateboarding stuff on skateboards, and stuff. Basically, that’s it. Oh, and it covers all of the stuff we found or people sent us from last week. It’s broad, it’s mega, and you should take a few moments to get inspired, reinspired, and/or preinspired for your next session. Oh yeeeesh!
First off, let’s kick things off with Bustin Boards’ latest video kicking off their new Street Crew and featuring riders David Anders, Dillon Collins, Prince Lange, Andy Millien & Jesse Whalen ripping all over NYC and the surrounding Concrete Jungle.
The Abec 11 camp just dropped this rad night bomb video featuring a follow-run with Norwegian downhiller Kim Anderssen hitting speeds of 60mph+. Don’t miss this one.
Now this here video is %100 homie and 200% real af. Just our friend Jared Henry of Comet Skateboards having a session with the homies. Shenanigans, really bad music, and vaping abound! Rad skateboarding too of course!
Chela Giraldo is one of the fastest skaters out or Colombia and it’s pretty cool to see the Orangatang Wheels crew hooking her up with some video coverage showcasing her talents in the hills of both Canada and Mexico.
This new Creature Skateboards montage video is worth it’s weight in gold—that is if ya like gnarly skating from this cast of gnarliroids:
Darren Navarrette, Al Partanen, David Gravette, Taylor Bingaman, Sam Hitz, Stu Graham, Willis Kimbel, Ryan Reyes, Sean Conover, Chris Russell, Truman Hooker, Milton Martinez, Peter Raffin, Jimmy Wilkins, Cory Juneau, Tyler “Squints” Imel, Kevin Baekkel, Adrian Mallory, Silent Mike, Adam “Scizzors” Effertz, Allysha Bergado, Josh Rodriguez and more. . .
Last week saw a lot of killer street/park ripping as we begin to see more and more downhill/”longboard”/all-board brands continue to expand there support and broaden their horizons and teams so as to reach and supply even more skaters with rad gear. Blood Orange Wheels is a perfect example of such a movement, and this new video highlighting their just released 99a Street Formula wheels and starring Sid Melvin and Jared Huss is a perfect example of good things on the horizon.
