Welcome to the newest Weekly Wrap-up of all of the tricks that came before the treats within our community from the past week. As Halloween festivities are in full spring this weekend the opportunity is afforded for all people to experience the expressive freedom to be who or whatever they want to be that we as skaters are blessed to experience 365 days a year. After you check out the latest news from the skate world and go about doing whatever festivities you may have lined up this weekend, realize that the good times will keep right on rolling for you tomorrow when you pick up your sled for that sugar fueled session of expression.
Perhaps the most unique aspect of skateboarding is its ability to ignite fellowship and comradeship among groups of individuals who may have nothing other than skating in common. A perfect example of this is displayed in the latest flick put out by Loaded Boards entitled The Gel Lab which highlights this LA skate groups escapades of their weekly meet up sesh.
Although it has been a while since the main stream skate world has heard the name Eric Jensen this is absolutely no implication on his dedication to the Push Life which is clearly demonstrated through his “Lost Clips” edit recently put out by Comet Skateboards. Jensen is a savage and is not afraid to skate anything put in front of him whether it be sidewalk Brucin’ to curb crushin’, this dude has got it.
The Grom 2 Man phenom Jasper Ohlson has been out and about in his local neck of the woods riding around on his skattleboard absolutely destroying any and all chunder he can find and thankfully for us his homies at Blood Orange have been following him around documenting all of it. His latest team rider edit released showcases how much he continues to progress during the time between each of his media releases with the growth curve being almost off the charts on this last one.

Rider/Industry News:
With the closing of the 2016 IDF racing season, another chapter is written with a new champion penned into the record books as the fastest man on a skateboard throughout the competition season. It was a Brazilan sweep with Carlos Paixão taking the title followed by his homies and training partners Thiago Lessa and Max Ballesteros. Emily Prosse took it home for the woman’s division and Ed Keifer carried home the junior title. It was an incredibly close contest in every catagory with every participant putting it on the line week after week making for an amazing spectacle of downhill skateboarding. Until next year, congratulations to these podium racers as well as everyone else who helped make this year one for the books!
