On June 20th we will set sail on this year’s 2015 Keep On Tuckin tour! We’ll be hitting a whole bunch of spots, hills, events, and shops up along the way as we head north to the Giant’s Head Freeride in Summerland, B.C. Canada from Long Beach, California via the Muir Van and packed to the hilt with our latest print edition Issue Three, as well as some amazing skateboarders.
We’d love it if you could meet-up and say hello, skate a bit, and perhaps point us in the direction of some tasty local terrain. If you won’t be near the West Coast of North America, that’s cool, too! You can keep tabs on our journey via web articles, live streaming video, as well as instagram updates and a full length video to be released after the tour. See below for all the details with a list of this year’s riders, as well as our tour’s sponsors.

THE SHOPS
It wouldn’t be a quality skateboarding road trip if we didn’t stop and pay homage to some badass shops along the way! We’ll be kicking-it-all-off, somewhat unofficially, at MuirSkate Longboard Shop in San Diego as we pick up the Muir van (our magnificent vessel for the trip). Once we’re up in Santa Barbara we’ll stop by the Arbor Store, and as we continue on we’ll most definitely drop in at Rip City Skate and possibly Daddies while we’re in Portland. We also hope to drop-in at Motion Boardshop too if the opportunity presents itself. If you have a shop and ya wanna us to stop by just let us know. BTW, we’ll have plenty of our print mags for all the shops we meet up at too. Stoked!
MEDIA AND UPDATES
Tune in to WheelbaseMag.com June 20 through July 1 for 9 photo articles from our trip as well as updates in general. Also, make sure to download the Periscope app to your phone and follow us (“wheelbase”) to view our live, daily-streaming during the entire trip. We’ll also be capturing footage by day, capturing more footage by night, and ultimately putting together a full-length video in hopes to have a few big-screen premiers and produce a limited run of DVDs too. Of course we will be sharing updates via our Instagram feed #KeepOnTuckin2015 or #BabyBrucemeonefortime
If you’d like to contact us for whatever reason during the tour, hit us up via the Contact Us tab at the top of our website, below here in the comment section, or reach out via our Facebook page. Let’s meet up and skate!
THE ROSTER
For the fourth year in a row we’ve selected some of our favorite, most rippin’ and stylin’ (and best-smellin’) homies join us on this tour! We have no doubts that the footage and photos we’ll collect will be rad beyond compare, and—on a more personal note—we’re looking forward to many fond memories of this adventure for years to come. Here’s the list of said shredders and a visual snippet of why we chose to bring them along for the ride:
Kai Monroe
Morgan Owens
Devyn Roseman
John Kreutter
Joey Nickell
FYI, our media crew this year is made up of Marcus Bandy, David Ruano, and Sloth Washington. These homies will undoubtedly get down on their boards when the time is right, but they’ll most definitely be spending most of their time behind their respective lenses in order to bring you the aforementioned media-onslaught.
THE SPONSORS
This tour wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of all our sponsors. This is our first opportunity to give them a shout-out and a THANK YOU! They’ve also been kind enough to send gear along for us to give away during the trip. Come find us at either Maryhill, Giant’s Head, or any of our stops for that matter and give the newly updated Wheel of Misfortune a spin!
