Come join us in Jacksonville, Florida on January 12 & 13, 2013 for the King Of Kona Two-day shredfest. As many of you already know, this event was formally the King Of Claremont event, and due to some unforseen bullshit, the event has been moved to Kona Skatepark. Don’t fret, longerboarders! We promise this event is not something you want to miss!!! Kona Skatepark is the longest standing skatepark in the world and it’s huge and winding snake runs are perfect for ripping, sliding, slaloming, and the like. This event is gonna be fun for long, short, and middle boarders alike. Stoked!!!!! We’ll be there getting rad—come join the fun!!! The Rough Schedule:
Friday – January 11th
8pm – Park open to all registered riders.
9pm – Pizza and beers (soda’s for the children).
*After you eat you can skate till you drop. Park will be lit all night.
Saturday – January 12th
9am – Bus leaves from Orlando for all people who flew into Orlando
*If you are driving from the south and want to catch the bus please arrive at 8:30am!
11am – Bus arrives at Kona
1pm – BBQ for all registered riders
2pm – J-bowl slide jam (Biggest air/Longest slide/Slide Jam)
4pm – Death race (Race though the park)
5:30pm – Street contest (Events are individual like pole jam, early grab stairs and so on)
7:30pm – Vert Demo
8pm – Screening of “Highway Gospel” w/ food and beverages
12pm – Midnight Mini-ramp death match
Sunday – January 13th
11am – Snake run race
2pm – Break for Food
3pm – Finish snake race
6pm – Bus leaves to Orlando for all people who flew into Orlando
*This can be adjusted based on people’s flights
8pm – Screening of “Machotaildrop” w/ food and beverages
Monday
11am – Riders have camp broken down but allowed to skate as long as they want and leave anytime that day
NOTES:
-Park open 24/7 so you can skate for a straight 48hours if you choose.
-Beer garden is open only to 21+ (MUST have wristband).
-Camping provided on property.
-Aside from contests we will have regular product tosses.
-Those wanting to be apart of the event who aren’t already registered can pay a flat fee the day of.
