MuirSkate Longboard Shop has been throwing the Downhill Disco annually for the past five years. In that time, we’ve watched as the event evolved from a hippie-jump-heavy cones course to a hang-time-heavy downhill skateboarding party, with some slalom cones thrown in to mix it up a bit. Knowing it’s well worth the trek, riders from across the Western Hemisphere (and perhaps elsewhere) made the journey to San Diego for this three day event.
The MuirSkate Downhill Disco is always sure to provide attendees with a good time. Unless, of course, said attendees don’t enjoy kicking it with a wide-range of homies, hucking oneself off DIY ramps, or sharing “adult beverages” with friends! We enjoy all of those things, so naturally this is one of our favorite events of the year. Scott Lembach and the rest of the MuirSkate crew know how to party and do not hesitate to share their excitement with everyone around them. We hope you enjoy our 2014 Downhill Disco recap as much as we enjoyed the festivities!
