Features:
The Orangatang “Onsens“ are a 58mm, 100a duro wheel featuring a 19mm contact-patch, a centerset bearing seat, and a glass-free urethane core suggested for skateparks and the streets and anything else, because that’s skateboarding.
Points Of Interest:
During our riding of this wheel we focused our attention on three main features; the urethane, the core, and the shape.
Findings:
1. Urethane: We enjoyed the slide-to-grip ratio that the proprietary “perky” urethane formula provided for. We also experienced absolutely zero flatspotting.
2. The Core: As for the glass-free core of this wheel, we did not find any noticeable pros or cons, but it looks pretty sweet.
3. Shape: Lastly, we give a big thumbs-up to the shape of this wheel, being that it’s smooth tapering from the core to the 19mm contact patch felt confortable, seemingly light for the size, with a fast rolling speed overall.
