Do you remember the 90s? Ya know, people were talking about getting piercings and getting tribal tattoos, and people were singing about saving the planet and forming bands? Well, there’s a place where that idea still exists and it has a reality, and I’ve been there: Portland! . . . remember when people were content to be unambitious, they’d sleep till 11, just hang out with their friends. I mean ya had no occupations whatsoever and maybe working a couple hours at a coffee shop? . . Portland is the city where young people go to retire. . . The dream of the 90s is alive in Portland! - Jason “Portlandia”

Cliché and trite jokes aside, we love Portland. We love our friends who live there, the epic skating terrain available; and yes, we thoroughly enjoy the sick-ass doughnuts & coffee shops in Portland too! Anyway, we opted to film most of the time while in Portland and we also used the solid internet connections at See See Motor Coffee Co. to upload what we’d already captured along the way. That being said, we did spent quality time at Rip City, hanging out and sessioning their new skatepark in the back of the shop. We also wrangled a solid posse and hit up Switchbacks for the afternoon. Did we also hit Burgerville, twice? Yes. Yes we did! Ha ha! We also skated some other stuff too, but you’ll have to wait too see that in our upcoming documentary video releasing next month. Before I forget, we’d also like to extend a huge thanks to Chip Wood, Jp Rowan, and Dan Hoolihan for the hospitality. I hope we didn’t leave y’all’s place too crusted, homies. Well, that’s it—peep these images below that were captured between coffee sips, beer tips, Voodoo Doughnut pitstops, heavy purp-skerp action, and other such leisurely activities. Let the keeping of the tuckin’ commence! Shredlove!
