Testing Jet Skateboards “Super Banger” Deck:
We hit one of our neighborhood runs overlooking the vast Port of Los Angeles.
Features:
The Jet Skateboards “Super Banger” is 34.3” long and 9.6” wide featuring a 22.″ to 23.5″ adjustable wheelbase, ¼ drop, flares, ample wheelwells, and it is constructed in the USA with 7-plies of Canadian maple.
Pros:
The Jet “Super Banger” is a compact downhill board best suited for jamming down hills and whipping out slide after slide. It’s micro drop, tight frame, and 7-pled veneer construction make for a responsive and playful freeride deck ready for shredding on any steep decent.
Cons:
As we mentioned, this board is compact, and although that adds up to increased agility when kicking-out and rotating slides, for some point-and-shoot speed boarders, this deck may seem a bit on the smallish side.
Overall:
Overall, the Jet “Super Banger” is a proper asphalt-slider and steep decent ripper. This close-packed deck combined with its micro-drop and lighter weight construction make it a responsive, agile, and quality choice for jibbing and jamming down the local hills.
