Testing Landyachtz “Dinghy” Deck:
For our testing of this board we hit the streets, slashed some banks, and found a couple new spots along the way.
Features:
The Landyachtz “Dinghy” is 28.5” long, 8” wide, mini kicktail board featuring a 14.6” wheelbase, mellow concave, a small nose-kick, ample wheelwells, and is constructed of 7-plies of Canadian maple.
Pros:
The “Dinghy” is a compact deck best suited for ripping around town and surfing sidwalks. It’s smaller size along with it’s ample kick tail and snubbed nose combine to create an enjoyable and relaxed ride with serious potential to get rad.
Cons:
Because this board is little, and designed for skinnier trucks, it is not ideal for serious speedboarding or super tech fliptrickery. That said, nobody ever claimed that it was.
Overall:
Overall, the Landyachtz “Dinghy” is a proper concrete barreler and sidewalk slasher. It’s tight turning, agility, and compact size provide a zip zingin’ goodtime and miles of smiles.
