Glorious springtime is upon us, the fragrant flowers are bursting with blooms, the grasses are greener than ever, the rabbits can be seen hopping from paddock to shaddy tree stump, and the downhill racers are shedding their old sponsors. Oh, what a lively time of year indeed!
Anyway, Patrick Switzer has left his longtime board sponsor of Fullbag (the dudes with the scrotum logo) to team up with Rayne Longboards. P-Swiss has also recently partnered with Triple Eight safety gear as well as The Coca Cola Company‘s bubbling and highly-caffeinated sugar-beverage, NOS Energy Drink. There is still no word as to the “where” and the “when” of a new Switzer pro model release, but as soon as we hear more we’ll let ya know.
This just in from the man himself:
“I’m stoked for Fullbag making it into the international market. I enjoyed helping their small east coast brand gain exposure and flourish. It was time for me to make moves and develop the already strong relationship I have with the people at Rayne/Vicious. Looking forward to the long-term and working internally to bring the world more rad products.” (Patrick Switzer)
We wish all involved the best, and are excited for what the future holds.
That said, we are currently trying to get Switzer on Aunt Jemima Original pancake syrup. We’re not sure if he’d be down since he’s Canadian and they actually have real maple syrup in those parts, but it could be a lucrative deal, plus, Aunt Jemima is definitely a shredder.
Ha ha! This last part may or may not be complete BS, but the fact remains: Aunt Jemima does fluffy, butter-smooth coleman slides. Later skaters.
