No longer are those stairs simply just a mound of bricks or concrete with a singular purpose but rather an open invitation to express the inner visions of your minds eye. This vision transcends the normal arena of sports where the objective is uniformly understood by all participants who are working towards the singular path to success. Skateboarding is subjective and the resulting display of art showcases individualism while simultaneously fosters personal, spiritual, and mental growth. Pictures and videos have been leaking out of the new Skatercross track that OG ramp dog Andy MacDonald has been constructing and on this past Saturday the first organized race went down at the Clash at Clairemont. The NCDH crew has been out searching up and down God’s Country with the sole goal in mind to locate new runs to mash down. Here is a stack of clips they collected on a newly paved gem deep in the backwoods of NC.

Coming up in the beautiful countryside of BC is an event that has been pushing and progressing the possibilities of fun for skaters by combining multiple elements into one rad roll around. Giants Head Free Ride is scheduled to go down June 27-29 with registration still wide OPEN so make some last minute schedule shuffles and get your butt up North for some pine cone tossing and scooterboard bossing!
