The NHS/Road Rider dudes hit us up and invited us to come check out their Laguna Seca Invitational race that’s happening this Thursday, April 19 in beautiful Monterey, California. We love downhill skateboarding and we love road trips, so it was a no-brainer. Plus, not only are many of our friends completing in this race, but the Caliber crew just built a new mini ramp in their Santa Cruz warehouse. Win, win, and win. Anyway, we are leaving in a few hours. Justin Preston and our editor, Marcus Bandy, are packing up the Wheelbase Mobile with cameras, skateboards, surfboards, and beer (keep your eyes peeled for Instagram shenanigans throughout the trip at instagram@wheelbase). Anyway, the weather is epic, the hills & pools are dry, and the waves are firing. Shralp it!
