The French car company, Peugeot, has just released this commercial featuring a crew of teenage girls bombing some forested hills and then piling into the company’s new hatchback model, the 308. Nothing new for the most part—we know girls sell products—but this is the first time we’ve seen a car company use downhill skateboarding (and yes, we use the term “downhill” very loosely here) in their marketing.
Everybody already knows longboarding is huge in Europe; but what we didn’t know is that it’s so huge the corporations would soon be using it to sell their wares. What’s next?
