Jonas Richter, the “Brazilian Bullet”, gets to travel quite a bit! This summer, he’s been up and down the west coast attending races and jammin’ out on some local hills. This edit from Bustin Longboards provides us just enough of a glimpse into his trip that we’re (a) jealous and (b) itchin’ to get out and skate for ourselves! (Where’s that hill with the wall, Jonas?! Don’t hold out on us, dude!) It should also be said that we want to get our feet on that new pro model deck with his name on it! We got to check it out while we were at Maryhill and it’s lookin’ real nice. Big things are comin’ from this fella!
Here’s some text from the video description for your perusing pleasure:
Since becoming a pro three years ago at the young age of 16, Jonas (aka the “Brazilian Bullet”) has made quite a name for himself as an up-and-comer in the downhill and freeride circuits around the world with sponsorships from Bustin Boards and Aera Trucks. This year he began his season with a new ThermoCarbon prototype pro-model board, and we’ve been working with him since then to perfect his downhill / freeride hill-crusher. Named for the ebb and flow of the waves that inspire Jonas’s surfy style of riding, the Hydro is an ultra-thin, speed-stiff machine ready to crush hills small and large.
The new deck and all of the specs will be available online and in stores on August 1st. For a sneak peek visit the Bustin Blog at http://blog.bustinboards.com.
