Coming in hot from the land down under is the crew from Animal House Reference! These Aussies sure know how to maneuver lengthy skateboards and cameras. Matt Bates seems to be leading the pack on the former, while Kristian Farugia continues to hold it down on the latter. Their most recent edit The Machine Returns displays some of Matt Bates’ skateboarding prowess including, but not limited to, mad flip tricks, techy-gnar-slides, and some all-around graceful maneuvers. I don’t want to spoil it for you, but HOMEBOY DOES A HARDFLIP ON A “LONGBOARD”. I know. We’re all aware that length is just a number… But when that measurement gets to be longer than the measurement of my inseam, you can count me out. (For all you in The Gear Nerd Gang (Don’t be shy, I’m a member, too) the deck in question is a Lush Machine.) Have a look and do what you can to slow the footage down and check out his foot placement for future reference.
