Arbor Skateboards and Caliber Truck Co. teamed up to double the fun (and perhaps save a couple bucks on gas) by cramming two vans full of stench stoke-strokers and releasing two edits from the same road trip to Whistler Longboard Festival. Birds and stones? Girls and cups? That’s so passé. These days, it’s all about killing two edits from one trip. (see Arbor’s edit above, and Caliber’s below.) Depicted up in here are the radical skate stylings of the majority of your favorite alternaboarders: Peter Eubank, Alicia Fillback, Aaron Grulich, Nick Ronzani, Dave Tanacci, Tyler Howell, Brandon Tissen, Tomio Choy, Liam Morgan, Duke Degen, Casey Morrow, Brandon Tissen, Max Myers, Aaron Grulich, Tyler Howell, Eric Singer, and Zion. A couple individuals even got some double exposure with appearances across both edits. (Smart moves, kids. Smart moves.)
I’m not sure how I would’ve felt to be sharing a van for two weeks (I only lasted one on our #KeepOnTuckin Tour) but the quality and quantity of skating generally outweighs the lack-of-showering, regardless of a road trip’s duration.
On the topic of the over all trip itself, we received some further insight from Arbor’s Skate Marketing Manager, Brandon Stewart:
2,000 miles of road covered, two crews, and two buses. The Caliber and Arbor teams caravanned up the coast of the Pacific Northwest skating anything and everything in their path while on their way to the Whistler Longboard Festival. Experience these two videos, captured from the different perspectives of their respective crews, and enjoy the ride of an epic skate trip without having to deal with the smells of a bus packed with skaters who haven’t showered in two weeks.
