Introducing our new Weekly Wrap-Up for July 11 through July 17, 2015. And let us tell ya that this week’s collected news-post is stuffed to the hilt/rim/tip with all sorts of skateboarding goodness, so let’s roll right into it:
There has been a whole bunch of rad videos dropping this week. Not to mention a certain trailer for a certain skate mission to a certain place of epicness and with two of the best downhillers in the world. . . we’re excited! . . . but more on that below in our video of the week.
First off motion picture news, we really think this just-released Jonny Miller mini-doc by Abec 11 is totally inspirational and a fun edit indeed.
Next up, we really enjoyed this super fun and raw-ass edit by Tom Leary featuring DH skaters from the MA and NH region as they skate a secret road somewhere up north from their hood.

Do you like not-so-serious mini-bowl contests but with some seriously killer skating, and with a couple wierdboards thrown in too? If you answered yes to any of these questions then you are gonna love this video from a bowl jammy-jam in Europe.
Rider Approved Designs just dropped their new R.A.D. Haole Tour 2015 - Hawaii Skate-Cation edit. Check it!
The Orangatang dudes also just dropped a video too, featuring Alex McKenzie and Jon Sevik hitting a variety of terrain (mostly flatground and dh freeride) on their soft wheels and lengthy boards.
We also just received this video from Bombora Boards of Brady Brown hitting some hills and listening to some raps.
According to an email we received yesterday, Santa Cruz Skateboards recently acquired Tom Asta to their Pro Lineup, and here’s two minutes of ripping Asta footage to celebrate.
We just randomly found this on the SOCIALS OF THE MEDIA and it is a stylish vid of Netherlanders Lisa Peters & Jasmijn Hanegraef skating together down some sweet looking switchbacks.
Riviera Skateboards also birthed this new vid as well, and it is of downhill duder, Juanito Camilo Trujillo Botero, of Colombia.
In EVENT NEWS, and as mentioned a million times, Central Mass 6 is coming up on August 7-9th and we want to see you there !We also just caught wind (more on breaking wind below in our latest review) that Carve Skateshop & Team NoBull have announced January 8-10, 2016 as the official dates of the 3rd annual Bayou Battle garage race in Houston, Tx. Stay tuned for more on that.
In rider news/gossip: Not a whole lot here this week, except one thing: Our old friend Fernando Yuppie has moved to Uruguay from Brazil and from what he said it’s because he’s looking to “grow skate culture” and also because he said he’s “banned from the U.S.”. Uruguay was his second option we’re guessing? Anyway, along with this info he dropped us this link featuring a video of some of the shit he’s been skating thus far in his new home. Keep us posted, Nando! BTW, What’s your addy so we can get you some new slide gloves? That empty two-liter is dope and all, but uh. .
