Welcome to our latest Weekly Wrap-Up for July 25 through July 31, 2015. We have all sorts of news for ya this week: videos, gossip, event, pics, and more. PEEP IT:
Whoa! Have y’all seen Comet Skateboards crazy raw run from Eric Jensen bombing hills on his EJ33—a 33″ inch long, 15.75 wheelbase skateboard? A must watch for sure. Damn!
Next up we have a rad video from New Mexico and featuring a whole lot of playful ditch ripping and other such things from some of the Loaded Boards homies.
An Amsterdam-based production company put together this short teaser for Dyneema which they claim is some sort of bulletproof textile they are claiming os a “revolutionary product”. Anyway, a skater named Bogdan Broviy rides through a wall of glass while bombing a hill.
Will Stephan chopped his Original Skateboards Baffle 37 and made a speedy raw run with it.
Avery Wilcox also made a video with Action Boardshop on the West Coast somewhere.
Everybody knows the iconic Santa Cruz Screaming Hand graphic, right? Well, it’s 30 years old and there’s a traveling celebration art show tour going on right now. Here’s the dates. There’s a video too.
Video of the week : La Reunion Part One: The Place One Never Leaves

Canon’s new $30,000.00 night vision camera Canon ME20F-SH shoots at 4,000,000. ISO and is said to be able to capture HD images in almost complete darkness. We’re not sure what you’d ever need any of this for, but it looks cool and we bet you could get some of the best night run video, ever!
In EVENT NEWS, it’s pretty much the same: Northwesterners def check out Cathlamet Corral on August 21-23, 2015! Here’s last year’s video from that event. East Coasters def hit up the Central Mass 6 event on August 7-9, 2015 (We fly out on Wednesday! Wooo!). Colorado-ers & Utah-ites make sure to hit Pikes Peak Downhill on Sept 11 &12, 2015. Lone Star Staters and Panhandlers do not miss The Patriot Race (and other cool stuff) going on in Austin, Texas on Labor Day weekend (Sept 4-6, 2015). We’re sure there’s are a lot more where this came from, but that’s all we saw with our peepers.
In rider news/gossip: Abec 11 just announced Mr. Tibs (Tibs Parise) to their family of riders with this video. Also, Max Capps heckled some groms for blowing it and repeatedly pendying across the double yellows on a local favorite. Incidentally, Max is now being hunted down by a local chapter of the Glendora Crips in connection with this particular social media tongue lashing. BTW, that last part we just made up to fill this space because there wasn’t really much else to speak of. Anyway, the moral of the story is don’t pendy across the double yellow, and especially don’t let Max Capps catch ya and figure out your social media handle.
