In rider news/gossip, a bunch of riders at the Maryhill Festival Of Speed, 2015 got robbed at the camp site and they are super bummed. Sounds like 10 plus boards, 4 helmets, and multiple leathers where jacked on Wednesday night out of tents. In fact, one South American homie was completely cleaned out. Here’s one of the quotes we found from Tracy Miller via Facebook:
Just heard from Simon Sturrock, one of our riders who has traveled all the way from South Africa to be at Maryhill “Festival of Speed” that the campsite got pretty cleaned out last night….His board was stolen so he doesn’t have a ride for the race. He said about 10 boards, 4 helmets & leathers got taken last night. What the Hell?! Everyone keep a lookout on the used sites! How utterly pathetic - I am so pissed.
When we know (we get there on Sunday from finals) we’ll provide an update. We hope all is recovered. . .
Video of the week : Blood Orange “Black Thane Limited”
If you have not seen our latest product review definitely give it a peep. It features Abec 11‘s fun all-around NoSkoolz wheels and features the skating of Devyn Roseman, Marcus Bandy, as well as David Ruano‘s first stab at gear review editing. Tell the homies!
Buy our magazine now, or suffer a existentially mind-warp by the Lemurians living in Mt. Shasta. Just kidding, but do support dirty skateboarders making dirty skate magazines, and stuff: Wheelbase Magazine Print Edition: Issue Three or Issue Two or Issue One as well! You can dooooo it!
Have a great weekend, y’all!
