It’s already Friday, yo? Dang! time be flying like a heron over Lake Huron! frawnk-frawnk-frawnk! Anyway, we are more than hyped for the weekend and frothing to share with y’all our latest Wheelbase Weekly Wrap-Up for May 30th - June 5th, 2015.
Well, let’s get into the nitty and on to the gritty with some tasty-ass videos that we found on the interwidewebs this week. Firstly, Wheelbase Magazine cover-boy, Dustin Hampton is featured in this new Comet Skateboards video showing off his recently released signature Voodoo DH for 2015. Def a rad vid with a speedy slam at the opening. Peep it.
Next up, we have this ridiculous video featuring a dude named Justin explaining The Physics of Skateboarding and also busting some superb/fly raps about half way through. He also has some solid shred ability to boot. It takes a sec to get going, but well worth a gander in it’s entirety.
The Bustin Boards crew just dropped a slew of product videos featuring many of their new 2015 boards, including the new Maestro - 5. #WheelbaseFam Seth Brown did the filming, editing, and we’re 99.5% sure he’s also the man behind the robo-tech voice-overs.
Andrew Mercado never leaves us hanging over here, and thusly, he always comes corret with some dope videos to share with y’all for our wrap-ups. This week he hit us up with this rad Gullwing video featuring Swedish dude Ludvig Hakansson throwing down some cruising ’90s lines. Mercado also sent us another video from No Future featuring some skate everything crustage from Jaden Chaves.
Loaded Boards just dropped this rad edit “Gravel Pits“, featuring the boardwalking and footloose trickery of Griffin Gravel. Loving those no-comply variations!
In EVENT NEWS, make sure you are signed up for MT. Tabor Downhill Challenge, Central Mass , and also Giant’s Head. We’ll see you there, homies.
Yo, yo, yo! The edits keep on dropping like friend chicken breasts on crispy waffles at Rosco’s in the LBC. Case in point: the homies from Action Boardshop back east in Michigan just dropped this delicious edit called “First Rip“. If you like ripping down hills in beautiful places with friends, then you’ll munching on this one.
The noggin protectors at S-One just released a fun follow-run of Oscar Gutierres bombing hills somewhere in Mexico. He rips!
In more of a really-really humorous vein, we present to you “How To Stop On A Longboard” by Courtney and featuring George. Excellent and quite sharable! Thanks Seth for the tip.
Lastly, but mostest stoke-worthiestly comes a vid from homie Saulo of Tijuana, Mexico and featuring two Baja DHers bombing a run through a tunnel and down to the Pacific.
