Introducing Mike Vallely’s “Elephant Brand Skateboards”

Hell yeah! Legendary skateboarder and all-around gnarly dude, Mike Vallely has just announced the launching of a new skateboard brand aptly named “Elephant Brand Skateboards“. Mike’s new Elephant Brand is coming correct, and right out of the gate, with a wide offering of boards ranging from traditional street decks & retro flavors, to various longboarding sleds. Mike’s explains his new line of skateboards as “Weapons Of Mass Creation. 100% Skateboarding for love—for fun—no rules, no divisions, no schools. . .” That makes us very happy!

Our editor, Marcus Bandy, recently had a chance to shoot some pictures of Mike while shredded on one of his new Elephant Brand longboards, and rumor has it that a Mike V. cover shot of a certain magazine was the result of that session. Hmmm?! Was Kody Noble at that same session as well? What does it all mean? Ha ha!

We also received an autographed Elephant Brand longboard here at Wheelbase—straight from the hands of Mike V. himself (see pic below). Sweet!

Anyway, check out this rad video of Mike Vallely ripping it hard on one of his new Elephant Brand Skateboards:
